Dontaye Ball - Good Foods Catering

Dontaye Ball's passion for food was ignited when he was just 8 years old, in the kitchen with his grandmother.  He started with cakes and cookies then moved on to roasting meat.  In high school he got his first job washing dishes at a senior living home. After high school he attend CCSF culinary arts program then spent some time in Europe.  Soon after his work at Delfina + Delfina Pizza + Spork + Presidio County Club + Google + Contigo + Good Foods = "damn good chef"!



Dontaye founded Good Foods Catering in 2002.  Good Foods focusus on using local products made by local people.  They specialize in California-Mediterranean seasonal cuisine.  As a company they have made their way by catering for company lunches, small dinner parties, food and wine pairing, and cooking classes for family.  They have a line of spice rubs and skin care products for chefs.  You can find Good Foods at the local Alemany Farmers' Market in San Francisco every Saturday.  They sell preserved lemons, pickled vegetables, pulled pork sandwiches and much much more!

  3. I always want to try other services besides catering nyc. I've heard that they have good catering services in a reasonable price. So I want to try this one, I think it's good.
